Will the prisoner swap be scuttled?
June 25th, 2008 Gilad Shalit, Hezbollah, Nasrallah

Forgetting about the infighting going on right now about who does or doesn’t have the right to declare Regev and Goldwasser KIA, now Hezbollah has chimed in with some noise of it’s own.  This of course makes total sense in the context of what’s been going on.

\"Why is this guy sweating? He seems to be holding all the cards\"While the IDF Chief Gabi Ashkenazi and Olmert argue about delaying the process of declaring Eldad and Ehud dead, the parents of the families  are pressing the government to make a deal at any cost.  Is it any wonder Nasrallah is slamming Israel on the other end to bumble into a bad deal?  “Make the deal now as the asking price isn’t going down.  We’ll only ask for more in the future”.

Not that Israel needs to set any more bad examples when it comes to making lopsided deals, but do you think Hamas won’t pick up on this and increase their demands already ludicrous demands for Shalit further?  It’s happening already.  I’m going to find something else to post about later because this is making me ill.
